2006 Street of Dreams at Dodd Ranch at Allen in Sammamish
The Seattle Street of Dreams continues its tradition as the most popular and highest attended single site luxury home and garden tour in the United States. 
This year, it is being held from July 15 through August 20, 2006. Opening times are 10 am through 9 pm. For more information, such as prices and a list of participating builders, interior designers and landscape designers, see the details of the 2006 Seattle premier real estate event.
The 2006 Seattle Street of Dreams promises to be very special. With six homes on 5-plus acre parcels, it will confirm the real estate adage of “location, location, location.” Some parcels have usable acreage, others have territorial views, and some adjoin a private lake. 
John Heller, Founder and President, has been leading the task of directing the design and management for the entry approach to the property, the demarkations and other visual enhancements. The goal is to preserve the privacy and exclusivity of the Ranch in harmony with its bucolic character.
So it comes as no surprise that, according to the organizers, all six parcels sold quickly.
The six selected builders are building homes ranging from 5,500 to almost 10,000 square feet. According to the organizers, the exterior architectural styles of this year can be interpreted, ranging from “European Country” to “East Coast Manor” to “Casual Northwest.”
As in every year since 1984, one of the beneficiaries will be again the Children’s Home Society of Washington. Another partnership to be continued is the support for the Make-a-Wish Foundation®. This is in response to the huge success to the “Wish-Rooms” of the 2005 event.
Since this year’s event is located in unincorporated King County, each builder had to obtain the neccesary permits form King County’s Building Services Department.

A look back at Nolan Woods, Issaquah
After the 2005 awards dinner the organizers declared the event at Nolan Woods the most successful ever. The outstanding dream home and run-away winner with multiple awards was the Chatham House, built by Parmenter Homes. It was voted “Best of Show” by all three voting constituencies: Realtors, Design and Building Professionals and the general public. In addition, the Chatham Home took 13 out of 17 first-place awards in sub-categories such as Best Architectural Design, Best Outdoor Living and Best Living.
The most deserving winner, however, was the Children’s Home Society of Washington which received donations of more than $75,000.
